I agree with John, i stumbled onto him when my music teacher in eighth grade forced my class to watch his Where the Light is concert dvd, starting with his trio playing Everyday I Have The Blues. I came out of class not liking his music. my dad then bought me that dvd and i didnt listen to it throughout that schoolyear, my dad wanted me to go work outside and said he would put music on. i said put on that Mayer guy, and he did.
