This has nothing to do with being American or European or anything else anyway. It's all in the name of science. A lot of important discoveries are made by mistake or from random experiments. So, keep up the science :)

I don't know exact voltage of Mac's CRT but displays like this normally work with about 25000 volts(just like TVs). I don't get it what this guy is trying to do.
