thanks goes to "ptownmotowndj" for his kind permission for letting me use his recording to make this full lengh version.

unreleased backing track for the equal employment oppertunities campaign which was dubbed by the supremes, the blossoms and jay & the americans.
apparently brian wilson had offered this tune to phil for the ronettes , the beach boys recorded a track called dont hurt my little sister which resembles "things are changing" most noticable at 28 seconds into the track link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vRBAe5wh_Q

  • If this is the Darlene Love public service track, wasn't it supposedly produced by Brian Wilson not Spector?

  • @StevenQBond far as i know spector produced the backing track / instrumental then the other producers used it for supremes, jay & americans, blossoms

  • Somebody said that unreleased SPECTOR stuff is finally coming out on CD,but I'll believe it when I see it. FIFTY YEARS,LOL!!

In the meantime, you have this. Thanks for comments!

BTW....I have an audio cassette from the rarely-seen (and never released on DVD)_documentary, "Rocking And Rolling With Phil Spector". The film only shows PS

    briefly,but he's talked about...from 1984.

  • @RonaldVaughan Hi Ronald, there started releasing spectors back catalogue, so far been a cd each by the ronettes, crystals, darlene love & a various, only unreleased track is the crystals " a women in love" in october theres a 7 disc boxset containing all the philles albums except righteous brothers amd lenny bruce, ike & tina BUT does contain a cd album of the flipsides ( instrumentals) fingers crossed there release unreleased tracks

  • NICE JOB, John!!!!! It's PERFECT!~

  • cheers m8, i fiddled with the tone added bit of echo then where yours cut of for the supremes/jay's part i used the intro and slighty speeded it up plus bit of over dub,

i tried to get it same as the supremes / jay and americans version in lengh etc, thanks again for letting me use your part

  • Arguably Spector's greatest production. Just listen to what's goin' on in there.

  • I've this (as well as the 3 versions), but - still - listening to The Wrecking Crew, raw - volume cranked UP... It is sheer artistry, of ALL the parts.

  • Bet it's NOT going to have those tunes by The Five S***s! (LOL!!)

But I THINK that's on the tape I have....someday I will try to dig that out.

    THANKS FOR REPLY. :)

  • @RonaldVaughan The voice of 'Wrecking Crew' drummer, HAL BLAINE is heard counting off the song.

  • One of the greatest sides is the Spector stable. THANKS!!!

  • @RonaldVaughan my mistake...make that Earl Palmer--drummer
