I read like a chapter of this book and really hated it, i skipped through it reading random pages then put it down for a few months. Then i picked it up 2 days ago and couldn't put it down, now i've finished it. Anyone know any books with a similar story? My lifes kinda empty without it, that sounds so sad. I loved Jared and Ian. Jeds like the Uncle you crave. I've never found a book that's so good!

i love twilight so much and the host is as good as twilight, i think. I can´t wait to watch the movie! ! Wow, Stephenie meyer is amazing, she always manages to write perfect books!!

I really think Twilight is much better cuz I can picture them but in the HOST I don`t even have a clue how to picture them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved the host book and it to me awhile to get into it too. I hope Stephenie Meyer writes the second and third book

I agreed, It took me a chapter to get into it. But i think it has more depth than twilight. I have read it 3 times now. That sad hey, But i cry every time. I would love to see this as a movie, but they would have to do it right, I am not willing to sit through another twilight movie, and there is only one (for now) so they dont have the liberty to wait till the second one to make it better.

i know what you mean and have you read the twilight saga, they're really good but not AS good as the host, and i'm about to start reading a 6 book series starting off with a book called "marked"

Try reading 'Uglies', 'Pretties', and 'Specials'. It's a wonderful series by scott westerfeld with drama, action, love and everything else that makes up a great story. It's based in the future like the host and the humans have somewhat been invaded.
