(A/N: Excited for this! I recently got into this song, and the title/song really stuck out to me as a good story idea. And someone commented that they'd like to see Nick take on the role of bad boy, so thats what I'm gonna try and do with this story. The video has the song/pictures of what their general appearance should look like, so it'd be cool if you watch it. Enjoy, and dont forget to leave feedback. :D)

Day one of heading back to the gym in about.. oh, I don't know - 100 years?
Not really looking forward to it, but it sure is a heck of a lot better than slouching around on the couch all day like I usually do.
I know I should probably get myself a job, but to be honest, I'm not bothered. Luckily for me, my uncle is the owner of this particular gym so I get in for free. Meh.
---
After going through the bullshit of placing my belongings into a locker and whatever, I awkwardly walked into the workout section.
It's weird, you feel like everybody is gonna critique what machine you're gonna go on and how well you're gonna use it. Everyone is too caught up in their own work outs though.
I sighed and settled on using one of those cycling things, popping one headphone into my ear.
My eyes began to wander around the room. The people beside me were nothing special. At all.
Disappointed, I looked around more. I could get away with it because like I said, everyone else was busy working out and dying of exhaustion.
I kinda was too, but it was okay.
But then, that dreadful moment occured.
You know that feeling of instant panic when someone randomly turns their head towards you, and you end up looking each other dead in the eye?
Then that person feels like you were watching them all along like some sort of creeper even though you weren't, so then you quickly look away feeling like a jackass?
That just happened.
He was cute from what I saw though. Very cute.
I'm tempted to look again, but my god damn pride won't let me.
I suck it up and continue with my workout.

*2 Minutes Later*
"Ahem."
...
"Hey. Hey, you."
...
The man sighed and tapped on Joe's shoulder.
Joe jumped a little and looked behind him, realizing it was the guy from before. He realized he was right about thinking he looked cute.
He was very handsome. It made Joe nervous.
"Uh, sorry to interrupt, but I thought you were looking at me cause you needed help."
"What, help? Oh.. no, no I was just. I wasn't.. looking at you. Not on purpose anyway."
He nodded and pointed at Joe's legs.
"Looks like you do though. You're cycling as fast as a turtle.. not really a workout.."
Joe followed where he was pointing and smiled, realizing it was true.
"Guess I got tired."
"You walked in two seconds ago."
Frowning, Joe asked a question.
"How would you know?"
He smiled and subtly shrugged.
"Cause I was watching you. On purpose."

Was that... a hint? It can't be.
Gay guys do NOT just find other gay guys this easily. It just doesn't happen, especially not in gyms. What the actual fuck.
I mean, it was a fucking beautiful compliment, but still. What.
I just kept stammering, which made him laugh and hold out his hand.
"I'm Nick. The boxing class is starting soon, are you coming? We can team up if you want."
Boxing.. really? Ugh.
I only came here to kill time. I didn't REALLY wanna have a big work out.
I looked at him uncertainly.
"It's not that hard," he chuckled.
That smile.... oh, fuck it.
I shook his hand and stood up.
".. Yeah, okay. Sure. And I'm Joe."

and there you have it.
you like?
@thebaseballxxny not really. I'm just going off of my gym and how it works lol. all these classes go on at different times and whatever.. and you can attend whichever ones you want. it's cool. boxing usually requires a partner though (at least in my gym.) :P
