This is what happens when you give away over 3,000 footballs to kids in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world.

Help us do this in more countries across the world (starting with Angola in June '07) by visiting www.thegreatfootballgiveaway.org.uk and give a ball.

We'll hand-deliver every ball you give us, on your behalf direct to a kid in some of the poorest places in the world.

  • good cause, i subbed.

  • Very cool. I was blessed to get to go to Swaziland in 2006 and 2007. I took a few soccer balls with me. They were a big hit. I took one American football as well great fun watching the kids try to figure out what to do with it. It did take long for them to find a game to play with it. If you really want to know how blessed you are go spend some time in africa. It truly was is a special place with very special people.

  • i want a football myself i lost mine, but i guess those guys wud appreciate it more than me, i will try alot harder to get back my footballs after i volley them into the next door neighbours tree next time.

  • hey i saw the documentary a few weeks ago i think its amazing what you are doing, thank you for doing this!

  • brilliant. nice to see pure joy from the children. remember when you were a kid & had the ball at your feet, the dreams u had of being gazza or ian rush etc. priceless.. great charity.

  • Thank you. Don't feel selfish, join in. Loads of ways to get involved if you want. If you go to the website you can email me and I'll let you know how to join in...

  • saw the documentary last night and was amazing, we take so much for granted and that just one football could make these kids so happy :) makes me feel quite selfish. good work to everyone that is part of this charity :)

  • that is very nice of you

  • This is a brilliant charity as you will have seen. I'm raising money for them by doing the British cycle sportive on July 1st. Good luck in Angola Paul.

  • Great video. wonderful to see how the donations last year were used. Just off to make my contribution again.
