Restoration completed, my 1965 Honda S600 Coupe won 3rd place in the "special interest" class at the Desert Classic Concours in Palm Springs, CA on March 1, 2009. Thanks for the cinematography Jack! So... the car is quite low to so the young lady did the best she could with that dress!

  • 1:10 "it's not what people picture for a Honda, thats for sure..."

0:09 "now this is clearly a car that Honda borrowed some styling ideas from somebody else..."

The ANNOUNCER is an absolute IDIOT!

He's clearly underqualified to pass judgement on any vehicle.

How in fucks name he was the announcer for what appears to be a prestigious event, is beyond me. Classic case of, not what you know but who.

Someone should realy contact the show's promoter and drill them on this.

  • announcer should be jailed and stoned to death

  • @JEMMotorsports The dude's right though. The similar year 600 hatchbacks look very much like minis.. Japans been borrowing styling ideas all along.. For example, I love my Toyota Mr2s but the first gen looked like a mini lotus espirt, the second gen was a mini ferrari 355, and the third, a baby boxter!! But it's cool, because they've got it where it counts, in the engineering department

  • @JEMMotorsports I cannot add to this. You said everything I wanted to say.

I saw several of these at the Honda Museum at the Twin Ring Motegi track, and to say they are small is an understatement. The S-series cars make a MG Midget look medium-sized!

But a lot of great things come in small packages.

I just wish these little cars were not so rare. Parts are a bitch, I am told.

I'll settle for a Mk III MG Midget--not as exotic, not as high-quality, but I can find any part I need.

  • How many "british sportscar of that era" are riding till now, fucking announcer?? don't compare beatifull shit against beautifull engeenering.

  • fantastic car...

  • thank you!!!!!, wow they just wont give Honda a brake. i agree with you. GOBbluthagain

  • Fuck that Announcer guy.... Honda didnt steal nothing... Thats just how cars were designed in that era... Give credit where its due.. Damn ass....

  • What a beauty, thanks for keepin it on the road!

  • The guy on the megaphone was a toss.
