  • half seat and two point is the same thing

  • Guys seriously, This is Mara Keith-Hunter an expert equestrian. I highly doubt she will take advice from a bunch of people acting like 12 year olds. She's actually my riding idol. She has beautiful eq. It's sad how you guys are critizing her, you probaly have your own riding problems. And if you guys knew anyhing about eq. Your not suppose to overexaggerate. Your suppose to keep your butt in the saddle more. She has alot of exp guys. I think she knows what shes doing.

  • I love to gallop i really don't need help at all i was just bored!

  • good job but you could have moe contatc before you startyed

  • Your in half seat darling. If you were in two point then your butt wouldnt follow the horse like that. Keep practicing

  • Ok, so after you master canter in two-point, but your not jumping yet, what is the next step before jumping after canter in two point? Because at my barn, we already mastered the canter in two-point, but we aren't jumping. We're cantering over poles in two-point. caould you tell me what to expect after we finish that? Thank you. it would help me out so much. :)

  • Okay the fact that the comment "half seat and two point is the same thing" has 30 likes really worries me....whoever your trainers are....leave them!!

  • @karliv33 actually, the half-seat and two-point are not the same thing. in the half-seat, the seat is off the saddle but pelvis still has contact. in a two-point, the pelvis no longer has contact. it's also called "standing" in polo.

  • I love this horse! I'm no expert but she seems to be moving a little awkwardly. Maybe it's just me. Tell me if I'm wrong :)

Mara Keith-Hunter is a great rider, and I look to her video's often for advice. Stop hating. We all have our different opinions and techniques, and if yours are different than hers, don't watch the video!!

  • @Isabeau3393 even experts with more experience have their faults...

  • I know you're the expert but you should be bending more at the hip.

  • lol ive never tried that in a canter
