I don't know what's wrong, but when I try to play Dark Souls on PC everything just goes to hell and dies.

I don't know if it's my processor or what, but I'm staying with my Xbox when it comes to Dark Souls.

How is it worse? With the DSfix I can use higher resolutions than the console versions and with the framerate unlocker I can run it with a solid 60fps. Even Blighttown is smooth as butter. Worse on PC? Okay....

Better textures? Sure. Maybe.

Better FPS? Not at all.

And I couldn't find anything else than the PTD edition, so that's that.

Hehe. I realized that he's playing on the xbox. I'm too familiar with the xbox notifications to not know that. =P

Even without DSfix the pc version has better textures and much better FPS in the horrible area's (blightown). Also you get PTD content for free with it, and it helps supported the developers. No reason to not buy it if you don't have the money to spare.

Also for the record he was on the xbox version as you see the xbox reconnection controller message which doesn't appear in the PC version even with controllers attached.

Yeah. That's why I never play Dark Souls on PC. I got my Xbox for that =P
