We call it the Honeymoon Hut, but this little jewel of a guest house can be your waterfront getaway any time you want to unplug and unwind.
Not for the disco divas and party-hearty tourists, we cater to people like you: thoughtful, busy people who want the time and place to rest, relax, and rejuvenate. Our guests come to begin new relationships, celebrate milestones, or enjoy the healing peace of living a life where time is measured by the sun and sea, not by calendars and clocks.
What can you do here? Almost anything you want, from walking on quiet beaches and mangrove forests to kayaking, to driving into town for dinner or ice cream. You can wade, windsurf, swim in the sea or in our salt-water pool, or just go searching for shells - well even let you borrow a pail and shovel.
After dark, you can wrap yourself in one of our soft, white robes, and enjoy evening coffee on the deck, while watching the city lights flicker across the water. Later, you can go back inside to your cozy reading nook, and curl up with a favorite novel, or use our free wifi to check on things in the real world, before slipping into the blissful softness of the 400-thread count cotton sheets that adorn your wicker sleigh bed
In addition to free wifi, the air conditioned Honeymoon Hut comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water for your shower. Drive into town for dinner, or just buy groceries and cook at home. If youd prefer to picnic, well provide canvas and teak sand chairs, a miniature market umbrella, a cooler for your food, and directions to our favorite beaches.
The neighborhood is surrounded by a federal biological preserve, and the far end of the beach plays host to a research institute. Sixty species of birds, including a pair of Great Horned Owls, make their nests here, and youll see osprey and hawks enjoying the wind currents over the house and pool.

As a previous guest, I can confirm, the Honeymoon Hut is comfortable, clean, and has great water pressure in the shower. Also, free wifi. (Hi, Susan)
