This makes perfect sense to me , IS The most capitalist thing ever "free market baby"competition if the HMO`s and the rest of the insurance company cant compete with a more efficient system then they will fail ,but if the government cant compete with the HMO and private insurance companies then the public option will fail.HOW CAN ANYONE BE AGAINST THIS!!!!

polls show that over 70 percent of people are in favor of the public option. It should be non negotiable. The public option does make sense. I'm sorry but i don't think the american people are all to worried about the private insurence tycoons as they are about thier health care and polls show that. It NEEDS to be non negotiable.

The country is bankrupt because of Bush, leave Obama out of it. Let's not forget that Bush started with a surplus of 5 BILLION and ended with a DEFICIT of 5 BILLION.... Obama is doing what he can, but it's not likely to be be effective in the coming years.
