Did not chart, but released as a single in September 1967. The Sham-ettes perfomed with Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs in the Sam the Sham Revue (as pictured). B-side is "He'll Come Back". Their answer song to Sam the Sham's "Little Red Riding Hood", entitled "(Hey There) Big Bad Wolf" is a little more well-known than this record, although it was not a hit either.

  • I have never heard this song, and is very good.I also like the information you have provided.I was not aware of the interaction between the two groups.

  • I THOUGHT THIS WAS KINDA IRONIC MY NAME IS SHAMETTE AND MY SON'S IS SAM!!

  • WOW...until now I never made the connection...have known and loved this side for years, but had no idea...still a great girl group side (probably viewed as dated by '67 standards, but holds up better than lots of music from that period)...5***** and thanks

  • Fran, Jane and Loraine was the way Sam introduced them at a live show.
