Gold has Pokemon from multiple regions.

Gold's doesn't travel alone, he travels with his best friends, his Pokemon.

Gold can get any Pokemon to stay in it's Pokeball, but chooses to let them stay out.

Gold has starters from both Kanto and Johto.

Gold beat Giovanni just when Giovanni had finished training his Pokemon stronger.

Gold became a Pokemon master....twice.

Gold doesn't chase after girls, they just come to him.
