Resins and silicone mold making is something else I have been playing with. As an artist, I find the process of being able to make multiple copies of an object fascinating. When you create something, it is usually a unique, one-of-a-kind object and sometimes that is what makes it "art". but what happens when you could reproduce it and make as many copies as you want? I want to explore this idea in my own work because I think it could say a lot about our society's values and attitudes concerning mass production.

Toys fascinate me for the a slightly different reason, but along the same line of how much value we put into something. The average star wars action figure is essentially 16 grams of painted plastic, yet people are will pay a lot of money for them. The MU figures drive me crazy because somethimes you are getting the EXACT same (molded) figure, but with a different paint job+head to look like another character...anyways enjoy. If people ask and I get good enough at making these molds, I will make real tutorials.
