In 1999, we visited Greenwich, Ohio for the third consecutive year and were able to see the changes that had occurred since the Conrail break-up. CSX installed connecting tracks on the northwest and southeast quadrants of the crossing, since they had inherited the ex-Conrail "Bee Line." Our first train utilized the southeast connector- a single GP40-2 took a long auto train toward St. Louis.

We pan the area afterward. Note the new connecting tracks, new tri-light signals, and the Amish horse and carriage!

  • CSXT 6267 is a GP40-2 not an SD40-2
