  • That suspect must be truly retarded to commit the act of crime so savage and so bizarre. I think he should be sentenced to death. McLean will have not died in vain.

  • Last I checked, it's not illegal for me to carry a knife. What's bus security going to do if they detect a knife in a sheath in my bag or the gun that my wife is licensed to carry concealed on her person?

Not that we ride the pooch, but they can't remove either of those things from us if we did.

  • Virginia Tech then this crazy yellow fucker

  • fuck that was in thunder bay the northern ontario one where the guy grabed the wheel

  • Hahaha! What a ridiculous News report...

    Such Scare tactics on News.

Seriously How Safe is a bus really... wow that Those people even wonder about such things.

  • Unless you have been in a situation like this yourself, who are you to judge?

  • No truth to reported clash on bus

McLean did know a girl named Stacey, but she was on a plane at the time of the incident.

"It's absolute fabrication." Crown attorney Joyce Dalmyn said.

  • May 1, days after the Supreme Court ruled that sniffer dogs could not be randomly employed in bus stations, Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day said he did not like the ruling. - Calgary Herald, August 6

  • Greyhound bus killing may not have been random

The perpetrator spent an hour talking to McLean's work colleague on the bus before moving to the back to sit beside McLean and then killing him. - Victoria Times Colonist, August 6

Tim McLean texted his father asking if he could bring this colleague home with him that evening.

Why were Tim and the female colleague sitting apart?

In a text to his sister, Mclean mentioned there were people on the bus using ecstacy.
