Methadone is a miracle to be offered,all these people dying from it are on benzos too or other drugs never just methadone at the persribed dose they eighther take waaaay to much or mix it with other shit and die like the dumbass s they are if you take the amount your supposed to this cannot happen,people are abusing it and ruining for people like me that take it just to live a normal like with having to bash some ones brains in just for a fix

Some people claim that Methadone "works". The only reason it works is because it's legal and heroin is illegal in the eyes of the law. If Heroin was legal and controlled like Methadone, it would work too perhaps even better than Methadone because it is nowhere near as harmful as Methadone. Heroin does not rot your bones or change your brain as drastically as Methadone does. It is a killer drug canon by the pharmaceutical companies because of one simple reason...money.

I find it almost funny how uninformed and ignorant some people are. methadone was not made to get people off of heroin, it was made as an opioid analgesic. it was later found useful to assist heroin addicts in detox. but, that still didn't reassign it from what it was: pain medication. I have RA and my doctor prescribes it to me for pain. if you're not an idiot and take it as a competent doctor prescribes, you'll be absolutely fine.

Whats the point of detoxing off Methadone man...I've been on that shit fer 8 years man. I like doubling up my doses, mixing it with a bunch of Klonopins....You gotta keep a good buzz going man....and I have the money to do it...

Methadone was created for people who are withdrawing from heroin. It should NOT be used for any other purpose.

@excthour It may have negative aspects but it also allows u 2 have a bit of breathing space I also have been using 4 along time and without my dose I would get sick and desperate and u know what that usually leads to, I would prefer to b on a heroin programme like the Swiss program but do not have access.

@bothellwa2010 I've been on 120mg a day and still wanted to get high I'd buy more on the weekend and take up to 300mg at a clip and still function
