Mutual aid response in Elmhurst. I think Lombard Fire Department Engine # 43 and crew were on stand-by at Elmhurst Fire Station # 2. Video shows 43 coming North on York Rd from Vallette and passing me at the Illinois Prairie Path. The last bit goes slightly out of focus as it rolls North, but I think the first ten seconds make this a worthwhile post.

  • Thank-You for your comments. Its nice to hear from someone across the pond. The sirens on the fire engines mostly sound the same town to town. I was lucky to get this video as the mutual aid coverage does not happen too often.

  • It is worth while, I used to live in lombard, that engine was bought new for station 2 5-6 years ago, sometime before I moved anyways. Then they updated station 1's apparatus.
