Guitar Hero controller mod- play GH: Metallica with a standard 360 controller!

Hello all; this is the first video I've put up in a while. Since my last video I have nearly stopped playing my 360. I've just been busy with other things.

When I found out that all the latest Guitar Heroes had no controller support, I decided to see if I could make one myself. I know a few of you are crying right now because I messed up a perfectly good guitar and a controller (well, the controller was completely broken to begin with) to make this almost completely useless piece of crap, but hey, it works for me.

So, here's what all I did to the guitar:

-Modded it so that you don't have to strum- see my tapping mod video
-wired the solo buttons on the lower neck to be the primary buttons (it's easier to keyboard-play that way)
-Added a star power button to the neck for playing keyboard style

-took all the electronics out of my broken controller. I left the triggers, and the A button
-replaced the rb and lb switches with my own. This took soldering and hot glue.
-added a star power button
-cut up some leftover wire and made a 10 pin connection from the controller to the guitar (5 fret buttons, one star power, two whammy, two grounds)
-tapped these wires into the corresponding wires on the guitar.
-tapped the tilt-sensor to the controller (this was last-minute)

Anything else? hmm....
so, don't ask me to make you a guitar like this, because I don't have the parts, and could probably not reproduce it.
and if you make one yourself, don't use it online and cheat.

Thank you for putting hope into this. This is what I've wanted for the longest time and even though I wont be able to make one myself just seeing this still makes it better. You don't know how badly I want to play Rock Band 2 with the controller lol.

the only reason i prefer rockband over guitar hero is because in gh sp phrases are so long as rb they r shorter
