I can't make sure but to me it seems to be a knockoff of a nissan or a honda.

The real brand would be obviously much better, but still would become brittle in the cold Russian winter.

If you drive in Russia you need to buy cars which have steels treated for cold weather. What might work in coastal China won't work up there. Try Russian or German cars.

It was a pickup truck not an SUV, but it doesn't really matter. Having 4 wheel drive may help keep you from getting stuck in the snow because it gives you better traction when you apply the accelerator, but is worthless when you fishtail, hydroplane, or otherwise start skidding. Electronic stability control might have helped, though.
