Hi guy, I need a little favor to ask. Could you send me some pictures of this conversion? I have a nice looking W111 (220Sb) and I would like to swap the engine and use OM617 with auto... the same deal you got there. Did you use original differential (rear end)? My email is emirarijana(at)gmail(dot)com.
My car has the original 13" wheels too, but as it is the more powerful FI version it is able to keep up with traffic and can drive for hours at 75mph. I must drive it more, now it is cold here and I do not expose the car to harsh weather. I see the car in the video also has the USA style lights, were these for scandinavia too?
I never drove this car with the M180, it was running on only 5 cyls when I bought it and overheated badly on the trip home. Car has original 4.07 rear end and 13 inch wheels, tops laughable 60mph now but I have a spare 3-something 108-axle and 14 inch wheels I intend to swap on later. Quick on the red lights now, though :)

How is the performance compared to the M180? Is the speed similar? The torque must be better, the old MB I6 do not have much torque.
