are you sure cuz if you watch Disturbed - the making of the sickeness, the meaning of life, they play this song as a band and and you can see dans foot shifting that note as well. and if you were to recommend a good pitch shifter pedal would you go for the digitech whammy?

Actualy they're not pinch harmonics at all. It's an octive booster. Tom morello of Rage against the machine and Audioslave uses it in his solos. Really neat pedal.

The first high note of the chorus is a pinched harmonic, and the high bit after that is done with the octave shifter on a Boss ME-50.

The original tuning is drop Db, but I raised it to drop D.
