Kawasaki GPZ 550, first engine start after the winter. Temperature outside was only 7 Celsius degree. My first japan bike, very solid, no issues for about 10 years. Kawasaki is the best! :)

  • @jayou77 Yeah, that was the only design flaw. Kawisaki fixed the problem by modifying the Oil Feed Nozzle. They Made the Nozzle longer which reduces the oil leakage problem. At least for the 81 550 D1 model that was, I'm assuming it was the same for the others.

  • I want that one so bad!!! And yes, Great engines, Always Start!!!

  • they always start like that after prolonged storage. great bikes, didn't ride mine enough last year, but will this year.

  • Yeh good ol bikes but they always blew the head gasket and yours has too (well its actually an oval o ring within the head gasket that sits in a recess for an oil way)

  • fucking nice!!!!
