Romania - my culture

This is a power point presentation of romanian culture and what it means to the world. Includes a brief description of romanian history including the comunist era of dictator Ceausescu, description of tourist attractions in Romania, achivements of romanian people and their contribution to humanity.
The presentation was an asignment for the Culture and Comunication Course-year 1 at INHolland University Diemen, The Netherlands.

There are some things that are incorrect. Ex. Henri Coanda didn't create the jet engine. Sir Frank Whittle did on 1 June 1907 on Newcombe Road in Coventry, England. He was an English man. Romania looks very sophisticated, beautiful, innovative & intriguing. Hoping to go there some day.

As you can see on Wikipedia the title of 'inventor of the first jet engine' is disputed. Henri Coanda presented his engine at The Paris Air Show in 1910 and also tested it (18 years earlier than Sir Frank Whittle). Coanda discovered the tendency of a fluid jet to be attracted to a nearby surface, wich was named by him (The Coanda effect) because he was the first to recognize the practical application of the phenomenon in aircraft development. @TheEuropeanDream o.o 50% of romania .. are not gypsies, get ur facts right before u say something stupid at such a nice and educated presentation.

And the romanians outside romania that u see most are the ones that disturb u the most, that does not mean that there are not acoplished romanians all over. There are many, u just don't bother 2 look.

The romanian people that bother italians are mostly pesants that want a better life since they did not get a higher education.
