hey youtube in this video im going to show you how to fix the frozen white screen on ipod touch and iphone with no computer. (people also call this the white screen of death.) but don't let the name scare you. All you have to do is hold down the power/sleep button and the home button at the same time for about 10seconds then you will see the apple logo and it will reboot and thats it

THIS DONT WORK?
if this doesnt work you have to put your device in DFU mode and restore through iTunes.

HOW DO YOU PUT YOUR DEVICE IN DFU MODE?!?
1. plug your device into the computer.

2. Hold down the home button and power button at the same time for about 10 then let go of the power button and keep holding the home button until you see the itunes logo and usb cable come up.

3. No your device is in DFU mode.

4. Go to http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ and download the firmware you are running.

5. Open iTunes and hold shift and restore at the same time.

6. Select the IPSW that you downloaded and wait for your Device to restore.
