This video did not indicate the "notches" on the pattern and what they are for. They are there for a good reason--front of sleeve is the 1 notch and the back of sleeve has two notches. Those notches on any pattern are so very important. The pattern chose didn't matter, but the notches should have been mentioned for beginner sewer..

wouldnt it be practical to copy the pattern over to something else so u dont mess up the original piece?
where did you buy the pattern? and did you iron anything on the inside on ur fabric. it looks like vliselin.....
also did you use any lining?
