Sequal = father son/daughter bonding, often from the mother being killed

@XieYali Bambi 2 is not even based on the book ether. Bambi 1 was. To me & my sister it made no sense.

I don't think that we can say that Bambi, Flower and Thumper act out of character because in the first movie, we hardly see their personalities as children - but in THIS movie, this is all about their childhood, so to speak. So obviously we're not gunna know what they were like as kids if we didn't get a decent enough idea in the first one.

But I agree, nothing beats the first Bambi. <3

@CosplayCore Yes, Bambi 2 is a great sequel, if you could call it a sequel. Even though I had some complants, it is still a good movie, it is good that the setup for Bambi is terrible. I mean I get it, Bambi doesn't have courage, well the courage Bambi gets is near the end and not the whole movie.
