Vancouver International Airport is the best experience for an international arrivals passenger. Here, the Pacific Passage demonstrates local artwork for passengers coming in from the United States.

  • @PielsG00d The Pacific Passage is for passengers arriving on flights from the US. Personally, I like the International Departures area better, especially with the creek running through the center

  • I didnt see this when i arrived from japan ._.

  • That makes me feel like im in a dying Indian tribe. Not the best experience.

  • hahah

  • Exactly. Plus, YVR has no fucking thing to do with the RCMP. Mind you, USA officers are much more vicious.

  • Ya, whatever, he was THROWING computer parts all over the airport. You did'nt show the section where that computer part can hit someone in the head a cause them to DIE>

  • that airport is magnificent

  • it looks better than montreal-trudeau airport

  • You didn't show the next section after the baggage carousels, where the RCMP tasers agitated immigrants who don't speak English. I am furious at the YVR RCMP and wanted to taser some of them as revenge !!!!

  • man i live in philadelphia, usa. i just visit ur city last month. fell in love with it. haha

  • At the end of the video you showed the carousels, I clear the jams on those things .. they can be pretty bad!!! But the aiport really is something.

  • ...it really doesn't do any harm...

  • That's awesome, I will be there in August.

  • I hate being pressurized. Thats the part of flying i hate. Just look at an empty closed soda bottle after you have landed. It is compressed. Imagine what flying does to you're organs. It isnt particularly good for you but i do it occasionally. I wouldnt reccomend it daily as it would prbably kill you faster than a bullit

  • I love how the have all the history and stuff like that scatered around one of the bussiest airports in canada!

  • I'm from Vancouver =)

    Our heritage is very beautiful

Please everyone come out for the 2010 olympics!

  • That is so true!!!!! I asked the US imibration officer after a while if they are Canadians - he asked me why and I said because they are nice and friendly!! He said, they are volunteers and live in Canada for a while. Maybe that´s why!!

  • What a fantastic airport, even the us imigration officials were communicatitive !!!

  • ^^ Hey me too! I'm in Asia now and go home (to Winnipeg) about every 2 years...and I always look forward to geting to YVR. The first thing I do is go out and smell the fresh air..then go to the bar and have Canadian beer (not Molson Canadian though!) and wait for my connection to Winnipeg. Ahh! I can't wait.

  • I'm looking forward to my arrival in 2008 already after seeing this

  • Last time i went there i hated the native art work freaky.

  • OMG i think that Vancouver International Airport is the most beautifull in the world... wonderfull.

  • Very nice...the good genuine Canadian creativity

  • It's literally like a museum when I got off the plane. Unfortunately, I was starving to death and felt like throwing up, so I didn't have time to enjoy it...

  • Yeah, it's always nice when I've been travelling to be able to come home to that. Especially if I've been in other airports a whole lot, since most of them are so drab. Van has the best I've seen.
