I wanted to show all of those who have asked me how i get the hairline on my reborn dolls, so I thought I would do a quick vlog while I had one on hand.
This doll kit is a Sugar by Donna RuBert and is one of my all time favorites.

@alma2600 - No I haven't reborned laura Tuzio Ross kit - Walter is a sold out edition and I can no longer get this kit.

before you root would it be better to lighly colour the scalp? It seems it might make blending easier....or would that just look odd? A newborns scalp is translucent so you can see the darker hair under the skin....?

@NadimahElizabeth - I like to paint the scalps / under hair and add mottling, it makes it look more realistic.

Hi, i was wondering how many packs of mohair would it take to root a newborn size baby. Or would it just take one?

Whilst I'm rooting my needle is picking up a lot of hair about 4 hairs per plug and I'm finding it difficult to make the hair a little thinner, i'm using a 40g ultra felting needle, could you help please?

@TheMaroon5luva - No I don't think they will stock them as they are not used in sewing machines.

I do sell the needles on my website in many sizes.
