@TheCtownbrown16 I mean the movie setting, not the film itself. the story takes place in the 50's/60's (judging by cars). By having a cellphone like that in it, that's an anachronism.
-
@endisnow That doesn't sound right. She seems surprised by the salesman and she wouldn't have the time to hire a hitman.
-
@schm147 this takes place in the present or future, the film had to be in black and white due to the amount of blood and gore.. read up on it.. :)

@slp2206 the "doctor" is a hitman who was hired to kill Becky after betraying the girls of Sin City. This is the last scene, in the opening scene of the movie you see the same guy, (the doctor) killing a different woman
-
@slp2206 the doctor is a contract killer we see in the first scene killing another woman. he's been hired to kill becky, which is how he knows her name.

ok, I'm probably gonna sound really dense but I really don't understand this scene, could someone please explain it to me?

I might sound really dense, but I really don't understand this scene, can anyone tell me what's goin' on?
-
@schm147 I don't think there's any mention of when the movie takes place

yeah, they totally had flip phones back in the 50's (or 60's....whenever it takes place)
when a smiling doctor offers you a smoke in the elevator you know you're fucked
