@Arborwaychet you nailed it! he's worried about his intonation and levels (and actually seems to give a meaningful look off to the side of the stage (where i'd imagine the soundboard person is))... i love how you can always tell where miles' mind is

I met Miles in 1990 and love his music. He is the coolest of the cool, the baddest of the bad and the best of the best :)

Miles keeps checking his tuning slide ... but shit he's onfire here ... right from the start hitting up into the upper register. I think he's not overly happy with the way the sound is coming thru. Always an issue with trumpet + microphones.
Unbelievable playing all round ... playing off each other and really taking it out there.
