what a wonderful priviledge for Prey and Pop . . . to sing this most Western of texts, in Japan!
-
Wonderful in every way. As always, Lucia is sublime. Even after all these years, miss her so much!
-
she is just PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!! i love you Lucia!
-
You didnt mention that this was the Part III - Cour d' Amours: Amor volt undique, Dies nox et omnia, Stetit puella and Circa mea pectora. One of the best of the piece!

Wonderful...I wonder whether there is a dvd or cd out of this performance...this is to be kept for eternity....look at the big Sawallich also, singing together with the chorus....Dear Popp who has left us so soon...And Prey....when he says "a remender..." wonderful. Thank you.

Whereas Popp is perfect. Gone too soon.

Prey was made for this music!! I first saw on 'black and white' TV and I think that was his best performance, he seems to be struggling a bit with it here....

moves my world to another place HEAVEN!!!!!
Hermann Prey wasn't struggling. The Chorus in this work was immensely loud. Any one been to this work's live performance would know.
Prey did an outstanding job here.
The soprano part is, on the other hand, very quiet. Popp sang gloriously here.
