Practical Pistol at MSA is an IDPA hybrid. It's scored IDPA but mags can be loaded up, cover isn't called, any reloads are legal and concealment isn't required - hey, it's trigger time. I shot this match with my Open gun.
@joecichlid Yep, the toughest part was hitting the bowling pin 3 yards away to knock down the drop down target. I wanted to hold the gun vertical so the windage would be right on and the elevation wouldn't matter but didn't have enough room. Had to cant the gun to the right which thru off my windage. That's why it took three shots to hit.
YOUCH!!! Shooting an Open gun under a van had to be pretty darned loud not to mention all the dust it must have kicked up. Looks like a good time, trigger time if nothing else like you said. :)
