O Salutaris Hostia for Exposition of Blessed Sacrament Eucharist

This is the hymn for the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. We as Catholics believe that Jesus Christ is present among us in the form of the bread. It has all the appearances of bread, but a change occurs during the consecration at Holy Mass called 'Transustantiation' meaning that the whole substance is changed, and is changed into the Body of Christ. Only the appearance remains the same. It is not a symbol. We believe that it is the true Body, Blood, Sould and Divinity of Jesus Christ.

Thank you! Of all the versions of this song i have listened to today, this is the one i would keep . The singing is simple, reverential, and unpretentious, as it should be for such a piece. The video showcases the church where we go to worship him rather than the ego of the singer. Also the latin lyrics were posted so one could follow along and learn the song. Thanks again.
