Aporkalypse Ankh-Morpork Opera House

This is the Ankh-Morpork Opera House tour in the Aporkalypse.net Minecraft server.
All materials were gathered manually by myself or with assistance from others.
The building was built by myself, with the exception of the chandelier.
Ankh-Morpork, or Morepork as it is called in the game server is an ongoing project of vast scale to recreate the entire city of Ankh-Morpork from the beloved Discworld series of novels by Terry Pratchett.


Aporkalypse.net Minecraft members are members of MeFightClub, a gaming forum spinoff from Metafilter.

Yay Discworld!

Awesome. Discworld is one of the best settings for minecraft I can think of, don't know why more people don't try to make stuff from it. Have you built the wyrmburg yet? On the subject of really tall stuff; I seem to remember a map called canopy carnage or something that ended up editing the world so everything was at bedrock level to make room for the trees. Might help if you want to do the tower of art or something.
