Great tone and playing

The highs on the jtm45 have always sounded softer than on the later Marshalls, to my ears.

@ACExAmps ahh okay, yes i understand that there were transitions and there was no "stock" Marshalls back then. I was just wondering, sounds great man! love the amp and great catch! :) I was just thinking of the year and how they had block logos etc, my bad! sounds great!

sure this is a 1966?, did you replace the marshall logo? I borrowed a 1967 Marshall 100 watt and it came with the old block logo.

@rbehm This head is all original from the caps, to the cabinet, to the tubes, to the logo. It is 100% original. Early Marshall amps did not have a very consistent look. For example, Jim Marshall had 100 of the early metal nameplates made with the red lettering. That would be 50 heads & cabs right? Nope, they also made the P/A heads with 2 cabs. Script logos started showing up in late '64 and were used 100% by 1970.
