duh Alicia Keys is timeless. trust, if the legends acknowledge her, she will be known hundreds of years from now. she is a musician, writer, singer, poet, activist, etc..

Also, anyone who says that Ms. Keys has no talent...who are you kidding? She can sing, she can write, and she can play. She's a good artist unlike MANY out here getting regular airplay for empty music.

Why are ppl comparing this at all to "Stolen Moments" the jazz standard...it's not the same song...so don't compare them. Just enjoy THIS song...which i s VERY nice actually. Btw, there are MANY songs that share the same title with other songs but are totally different. Ex. "Fool's Paradise"...there are 3 sings with that title.

Compare it to " Stolen Moments" by Oliver Nelson. This " Stolen Moments" was an instrumental but lyrics were also put to the melody. It was released in 1961 and gets regular airplay today. It has been covered by countless musicians since then. That's 50 years ago. Do you really honestly think that anyone alive at the time, 2061 will have any idea of who Alicia Keys ever was. It's a pleasant little ditty, her "Stolen Moments" but I just think of it as -STolen TItle.

Definately! You can almost feel the soulful lyrics and taste her passion and genuinity. Unlike, pop music (from Rihanna, Miley, and the rest of the non-talent, superficial skanks that's f-in up kids and teens minds) has no substance, and fades is a f-in month. Good lyrics from a soulful singer lasts a lifetime.

Why would you even compare Rihanna to Alicia? Don't do that. Alicia is a singer, songwriter, pianist and an incredible artist. Things that Rihanna chick know NOTHING about. She shouldn't even be a subject of discussion here. Ofcourse she's number 1. She's one of the few artists in the industry with talent and credibility. Jordin appeals to a different crowd. Rihanna is a media puppet who dresses scantily clad for little attention.
