http://ventrac.com/topfan/noah_palmer :: Twelve year old Noah Palmer discovered Ventrac one day on YouTube. Despite never actually seeing a Ventrac in person, Noah went on ROBLOX, a virtual block world, and created a Ventrac 4000 series tractor. Soon he had seven attachments to go along with his Ventrac. Because of his creativity and attention to detail, we invited Noah for a tour of the Ventrac Plant. This is a video from that tour as well as scenes from the virtual Ventrac world Noah has created on ROBLOX.

I play a game called rigs of rods. It's a realistic physics game, and if you're good, it's possible to make any vehicle you want. If you like my video response, let me know (sorry it's a john deere) because I was actually thinking about making a ventrac for the game.

Hi Nickster, we'd love see a Ventrac rigs of rods video! If you get it done by 4/30/2012 you can be entered in our Top Fan contest which ends at the end of this month. Either way we'd be happy to link to whatever you come up with and feature your work!

Well, it definately won't be done before 4/30/12! The process constists of a "node/beam" frame (the brown beams where the deck normally goes in the video) which I would need to make. Then, I would have to use a 3D modelling program (google sketchup for me) to make the body, deck, wheels, and other things, and then that all needs to be placed on the node/beam frame. It's not the shortest process, especially if I want to make it a good quality mod, but it will be very realistic.

No problem on timing. We use SolidEdge to create 3D models of our products, and we understand these things take time. I just mentioned the date, because we just happen to have a contest ending at the end of the month for Ventrac Top Fan. But we'd still be very happy to see what you came up with wanted to model a Ventrac.

@Nickster7ROR It's kind of hard, well if you want to put detail into it, it will take a while. I started with little detail, then I am working my way up to adding more detail.

Check out my ventrac so far. It needs a bit of work, but it's coming along nicely!

I guess you could say that, but I wanted to make one for a while. Yours are nice though because you have lots of equipment. Is it hard to build things with that game?

@Nickster7ROR. Isn't that kind of copying my idea?

Ok! I'll make another video when I finish the other model, so that you can see what it looks like. I want to make one of the 4000 series tractors (probably the turbodiesel) with the contour mower and duals. Rigs of Rods is a neat game to play, because you can do whatever you want, and I started my own roleplay landscape company! The ventrac will be great to add to my fleet!
