it's a perfectly correct term to use. Live with it. The sport is called Association Football. "Football," "footie," "soccer," etc. are all just shortened versions of that name. None is more legitimate than the other. They call it soccer in Canada, Australia, Scotland...hell plenty of Englishmen use the word soccer and the English invented the damn word. Pause it the moment the ball is passed towards the striker for the first goal, you'll realize it wasn't offside, Manchester had a defender lingering back which kept the striker onside, so it was a legitimate goal. Likewise with the second goal, the ball though close can be replayed slowly and seen just crossing the line and bouncing out, that second goal can or can't be often caught by the ref, so regardless of whether it was a goal or not, that's football for you.

im a utd fan but i think kc deserve that win at least the us team didnt get humiliated by england in the world cup they under estimated the us we have what it takes so we must know something about the gane of football
