Always seemed like such a spacey song- that's why I've always liked it. A real out-of-body experience.

"Little Stevie" is a bluesman, through and through. He proved that when he played on Electric Ladyland. A musical genius by the time he could drive.

It's MSRS Roger Hawkins on drums. Cannot really see the bass player - David Hood? But no Barry Beckett on this gig?

I was there. I had a connection through Alan Parker, who was the opening act. Great seats and backstage passes, for Both shows. That's right, they played an 8 PM show and a late show. Jim Capaldi took my friend's camera and began shooting backstage.

this is to Madda59 yeah I've mellowed too but again not; I still think this music is the best, and I agree about Barry. I listen to old stuff and old guys mostly, but I have a soft spot for say Fugees, like that. I think it's harder for the new guys to hit the sweet groove for various reasons now...one Love
