17 students from the University of Rhode Island's Newman Club and Father Matthew Glover, the Chaplain/Director of The Catholic Center, embarked on a mission trip to Nicaragua.
The students worked with disabled and abandoned children in Diriamba at an orphanage run by Mustard Seed Communities, a Roman Catholic organization dedicated to caring, sharing and training, and uplifting the most vulnerable members of society.
Mustard Seed Communities is set to officially open the Diriamba Childrens Home on Feb. 26
