"Shark Baiting" in EarthBound

(First of all, sorry for the terrible quality. I don't have all day to upload this so I just shrunk the size down to a mere 5 megabytes.)

This was a personal challenge I set up to do on day 2 of EBFGPs (EarthBound Funktastic Gameplay) 2008. I decided to do this a little ahead of time because I knew the outcome wouldn't affect the items and stats I need for the official challenges. The plan was to get a Skate Punk to chase Ness all the way up to the top of the hill where the meterorite rests, by hiding behind objects so the much-faster Skate-Punk couldn't attack me. I did not reach the top, but out of my ~50 tries at doing this, I got further than I ever had before.

I'd like to see somebody lure the Shark to a further point than I managed to. No Skip Sandwiches allowed.
