Anyway, this is the colleection of the advirtised New Ca's, it is speculated that they will be out by 10/2008 or early 09' Hope you enjoy the vid! AR-10 has been around since before the M4's its the predecessor to the M-16's almost. Most police forces use AR-10 or AR-15's in the U.S.

do you know if the ar-10 has threads in the barrel for a silencer

I believe so, as all CA's usually have a threaded barrel, but check before you buy, use a site like: airsoft reports

I believe so but I have very little experience with the CA proline Ar-10.
