Yet despite this, millions of us still lack the basic knowledge to safely and effectively monitor our children's internet usage.

According to research by TalkTalk, many parents are still letting their child loose on the internet without having any filtering software on their family computer.

You make a good point, but l think the information "inhailing" is different from the old generation. I'm 13 and l found out what the internet was when l was seven years old.

The kids (and the parents) need to learn that ignore and just say meh and not care.
