hi
i just bought a guitar on ebay-if you type this number on the ebay site you can see it.
nice guitar but it has a completely flat finger board. can you tell me whether the early guitars had this or is it unusual? thanks

i like your explanation on how the barbs will bite the board as you hammer the fret in. so, will you say hammering could have an advantage over pressing?

The fret board is removed with a little heat from an old iron and a baker's spatula.
