If it is restricted by Policy, the user cannot remove that restriction unless they wipe their phone. If they wipe their phone, then they have to re-provision using the EMM Agent. You cannot connect to the exchange server directly with our product, you have to use the EMM Agent. At that point, the Filter servers push the policy again. No way out.

say you have camera restriction on via profile,
does camera still restricted after tapping on settings->general->reset->reset all settings?
in my case, all restriction are gone that is pretty pointless coz this should be managed by MDM.
