Color Light Therapy and Seasonal Affective Disorder

Color Light Therapy is only one of the many holistic approaches that Peace Valley Holistic Center uses to help Special Needs Children.
Peace Valley Holistic Center is a Nonprofit organization. With over 40 years of experience as a naturopathic physician/teacher/researcher, Dr. Davis has seen the number of autistic children dramatically increase in her practice. Dr. Davis has witnessed the effects of hopelessness and stress on parents, caregivers, and siblings. She saw how Holistic programs and alternative modalities renewed the hope in these families, because of the success and progress that was made. Simultaneously, while helping challenged children, Dr. Davis has aided the whole family by providing complimentary care to relieve stress and rejuvenate parents, siblings, friends, and caregivers. This success was the inspiration for the idea of creating the Peace Valley Holistic Center.

The Peace Valley Holistic Center will be a prototype having three prongs: 1. A Holistic approach to helping Special Needs Children, with a focus on Autism/parental education;
2. Holistic techniques to aid the families/caregivers /friends with stress, coping, and transition;
3. A Holistic approach to advocacy, by educating the parents/caregivers, regarding education law, communication, and navigating through the administrative process.
