people should never have invented the atomic bomb. to me it seems like people just want to prove that they CAN make it, instead of worrying whether they SHOULD. its just not worth all those lives. there were other ways to end the war. and to think, that some countries could have more now is a very scary thought.

I don't really know the entire story of Hiroshima, but how could an American, let alone any man..Drop a nuke on a city, killing 100,000 people. It's so sad :/ I couldn't have done it, if I was the Pilot of that airplane.

Why didn't we detonate the first one off-shore or something? Scare the sh** out of 'em, let them know we're serious. Not right over a city

This is so sad,yes, but is sadder to read people repeating the american propaganda " this was necessary in order to avoid further damage". Fortunately, at that time americans were winning the war.Oh, my god!
