@zisel2 that's right! All hail xxjamaalxx
-
@xxjamaalxx agreed. no one ever put up any single scene from any movie ever, because internet commenter "xxjamaalxx" says so.
-
@ladynight66 who gives a fuck! Show the whole thing or nothing at all, I don't care how famous the scene is.
-
@xxjamaalxx You idiot! This is only the most famous scene in Lear.
-

-
Jacobi > McKellen
-
@Coalkey23 Not a fan of the Tempest. But I think Richard III is up there.
-
@pr0gram1st he's Ian Mckellen, not Gandalf.

Uh... this is where Lear is going nuts. You know, the storm is paralleling his madness.
You know... Shakespeare... Lear... acting... brilliance.

Spectacular. Here you have Fool and Lear, both "off" in their speech in wild ways, and then poor Kent shows up as normal and good as day is long, just trying to get them all in out of the rain. How to make absolutely everything out of dialogue, because what else have you got as a playwright, before film and CG and fancy stage contraptions?
