Ok it works now! Hey thanks for your responding. Now I'm able to use my windows media player wirelessly as well as control my pc remotely with VNC! Problem was with my iphone connecting to firstly edge network and later when I switched to WIFI network it was connecting to a different network and not my home network. So basically, that was the issue... when I connected my iphone wifi to my home network Signal as well as VNC worked just fine. Thanks again.

I'm still not able to connect my jailbroken 1.1.4 iphone. I have installed VNC on my iphone and downloaded ultraVNC on my windows also made sure that the firewall is'nt blocking the program and connecting using my wifi. The status on the botton shows its the connecting to server and after sometime it shows a failure message 'connection could not be made to host *ip.address* port 5900 ' Any ideas? Can you show me please?

Try with port 5800etc, or the one you´ve choosed besides 5900. If that doesn´t work, make shure you connect from Safari browser and NOT from the VNsea.. Tell me if you get it to work...
